Strawberries ... finally.. :)

Tis the season... for strawberries!!! 

2nd pick today and let me tell  u they are just marvelous, big, juicy, and extra good this year.. couldn't wait to share thes lovely pictures with u guys, from our patch today we picked off 74 pails,, (1 gallon ice cream pails) and it's only the second pick!!!  From now on we'll be picking them every 2nd day for about 2 hours lasting about 2 weeks or longer, we make sure we get every one, can't let one of the mgo to waste, we then make jam and freeze some for the winter months. So we have strawberries year round... but nothing compares to the one warm, freshly picked strawberry enjoyed right in the patch... :)

So I'm back with another card,,, missed my sister's b-day,, can u believe it, me - a card maker, I don't even have to buy a card, missed giving my sister on for her birthday,, , still can't believe it myself,, so I decided to give her one on the first chance I got, it came a couple weeks later when she became so sick that all that helped was sleeping so I made a card for her with a bit of advice ... SLEEP it off... found a cute image  and the card did exactly what I wanted it to do,, make her smile ... :) as best she could, She's all better now, and actually looks like herself again, one side of her face was completely swollen ,  it was pretty freaky, and all that was caused by a sore tooth,,, scary,,

What they chose to bring back to me...

So the Fort was displayed in the Public Town Library,, right??? and after 2 months they called us to come get it,, so they went and got it! Kay, now on the way home they got to talking and finally asked each other,,, (mom/dad/sister) what are we gonna' do with it at home, it's too big to keep around??? So they drove up to the nearest dumpster and tipped it in... they knew me well enough that I would be very disappointed and stuff so they brought me a consoling gift - a piece off the fort

That 'thing' was the first thing I made and it was supposed to be a house, didn't turn out, so it accidentally became a barn,, they brought me - a barn- I seriously couldn't believe out of choosing anything on the fort they chose the barn to bring me... I wanted my red river cart or my wishing well,, Oh I was so disappointed but in time I got over it and as much as I didn't like the barn I displayed it on my crafting desk for all to see, but for my it's a reminder of my time and energy spent designing and creating something that ended up on the dump only thing saved is the barn.... :,) so sad... but anyway if they would want another one, I'd be more the happy to make one!! so just let me know...
